Who is this crazy person behind Sassy Scrappin’? Well, I ask myself that everyday! My name is Renee and I decided to start this blog after falling in love with the whole blogging idea on my other blog (yes, I sound busy but really I am not!) My other blog started as a place to update my friends and family about my fight and VICTORY over breast cancer, but then it turned into much more. I realized I loved writing about stuff I feel much passion for and ta-da, this blog was born! You will realize my writing style is a not “normal”, I really try to write as if I am talking to you, oh, and yes, I do think I am funny so if you see a smiley face – I just made myself laugh!
Who am I though? Well, I am a mother to the most wonderful, cutest son ever (yes, I might be a little bias) and I am about to start staying home with him full-time, I am a wife to a great man, I am a friend to many, a sister, daughter, aunt or (Nay Nay) and much more. I am a spiritual person who believes God is in all of us and works through us, I am a cancer SURVIOR, I am my own worst critic (really, this is NOT a good thing and I am trying to change it), I am a gift giver (oh, I love giving gifts!), I am a horrible house wife (laundry and bathrooms really make me crazy and not in a good way), I love to watch cooking shows but really hate cooking, so really, I think (or hope at least) I am a normal woman with a wonderful life and a LOVE for crafts and making cute things!
I have always had the crafting bug from as far as I can remember and I have always looked at stuff in the stores and thought to myself, I can do that! So that is what I do – I look for inspiration everywhere and put my own twist on it.
